It’s a boy! If you didn’t know, we are expecting a baby in the end of February. Tonight we had a few friends and family over for the big gender reveal. After dinner, we had everyone pick a box… pink if they were guessing it was a girl and blue if they were guessing a boy. Once everyone had a box, they opened them at the same time. All of the boxes had the same thing in them; a cupcake with XY written in blue frosting (for the Scientifically Challenged).
We also took name suggestions from the group. The boy and girl name lists were more even until after the reveal… And even though it seemed to be a group favorite, we probably won’t be naming our baby Darth Vader. (Sorry Joel)

So happy for you guys! Ben is gonna be a daddy!!! I think I’m feeling older now for sure! Miss you both and hope the pregnancy is going well…

yay! Baby Boy Kasdan is coming soon. I can’t believe it. Well, my sewing fingers will have to get to work now. And I will have to start thinking up words to baby Kasdan’s story. It should go a little something like this: “Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Darth.” Hmm. That doesn’t sound quite right. I guess I’ll have to wait until February to finish it.

Congrats! I am very happy for you guys – being a mom is the greatest thing ever! I hear that you look great pregnant! I hope you’re feeling well – enjoy being pregnant… I just told Kris that it’s hard to remember what it felt like to be huge and round! It feels like it takes forever to get to the due date, then in just a few weeks, it feels like a lifetime ago!
